SAFETY & SECURITY

Ensuring the safety of students during school transportation is of utmost importance. The following safety protocols can significantly enhance bus safety and contribute to a secure environment for students:
Bus Safety
- Police verification and psychometric testing - We ensure that all staff members undergo thorough police verification and psychometric testing before being hired.this confirms a clean criminal background and the candidate’s mental fitness enhancing the safety and security of our school.
- Hiring of the staff - We hire drivers with a minimum of five years of experience in operating heavy vehicles. It is essential that the drivers have a clean record, with no history of traffic violations such as red light jumping, over speeding, drunk driving, or dangerous driving.
- Regular maintenance of Buses - We conduct regular maintenance of our school buses to ensure the safety and reliability of our transportation services. This includes routine inspections, timely repairs, and servicing of buses as per the schedule.
- CCTV equipped Buses - Our school buses are equipped with CCTV cameras to enhance the safety and security of students during their commute. The CCTV systems provide continuous monitoring, helping to deter inappropriate behavior, document incidents, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- GPS equipped Buses - Our school buses are equipped with GPS tracking systems to ensure the safety and timely transportation of students. The GPS allows real-time monitoring of bus locations, helping to keep parents and school administrators informed about the bus's progress along its route.
- School Disciplinary Committee - At our school, we prioritize the safety and well-being of every student, particularly during their journeys on school buses. Therefore, we have formed a School Disciplinary Committee focused on addressing and preventing bullying, as well as encouraging the reporting of any incidents of bullying or inappropriate behavior.

Ensuring Proper Driver Conduct
- Our Driver Follows The route lists - Our school bus drivers diligently follow the designated bus route lists to ensure that students are picked up and dropped off safely and on time. The transport staff are trained and familiarize themselves with the routes and don’t divert without approval.
- School code of conduct - Our all drivers strictly adhere to the code of conduct established by the school. They ensure that students are treated with kindness and respect while promoting adherence to safety protocols.
- Compliance regulations - Our school bus drivers are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability by strictly following all compliance regulations set forth by the transport authorities. These regulations encompass various aspects, including vehicle fitness, valid permit and pollution etc.
- Regular Feedback - we actively seek regular feedback from our route in-charges regarding the performance of our transport staff. Route in-charges will oversee the daily operations and ensuring that drivers adhere to safety protocols and maintain a positive and safe environment on the bus.

Digital Bus Attendance
-
Our school employs both digital and manual methods to take attendance for students who travel by bus. This dual approach ensures accurate tracking of every student, even in cases of schedule changes such as staying back for co-curricular activities or leaving school early.
By maintaining detailed records, we can monitor each student's journey to and from school, enhancing safety and accountability. This system allows the school to promptly inform parents and guardians about their child's whereabouts and ensures that no student is left unaccounted for during transportation.

Dispersal Drill
- Dispersal drills - Conducting dispersal drills familiarizes students, staff, and bus drivers with emergency procedures. These drills should include protocols for evacuating the bus, assembling at a designated safe area, and conducting headcounts in case of an emergency, such as a fire or accident.
- First Aid Training - our staff members are trained in providing first aid. This training equips them with the skills to respond promptly and effectively to minor injuries or medical emergencies that may occur on school premises or during transit
- POCASO Trained - Our transport staff are trained in POCASO (Prevention of Child Abuse and School Offence), ensuring they are equipped to recognize, prevent, and respond to any signs of child abuse or misconduct. By this our staff can act swiftly and appropriately in situations that may pose a risk to a child’s well-being.
